Course Summary

Provide First Aid HLTAID003, previously known as Senior First Aid and Apply First Aid, from the Health Training Package HLT. This First Aid course is recognised under the VET Quality Framework, ASQA & has Australian Resuscitation Council approval. This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty.

After Your Course

Upon the successful completion of this First Aid course, participants receive a Statement of Attainment from ATS. The training is valid for 3 years, to be renewed on a continuous basis. If you hold a current certificate, you are not required to complete the online pre-work. If you do hold a current certificate, bring a copy with on the day of training.

Provide First Aid, previously known as "Senior First Aid" and "Apply First Aid", will train you in first aid response, life support, CPR, management of casualty(s) and being confident in assisting casualty(s) until medical assistance arrives. This course is completed by Police, Fire and Ambulance, airline employees, swimming instructors, teachers... the list goes on! This course is available in Campbelltown and Miranda. How is the Course Assessed?

Practical & theory assessments. All students are required to complete pre-course work before attending their nominated one day practical session. Once you have booked in your First Aid Course you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to register to access the pre course assesment. If you do not want to use this online component & would prefer to complete this section of the course with hard copies, please advise the administration staff & at an additional fee of $15 we shall Express Post them to you. Students must achieve a mark of 80% or higher.

Extra Notes

Priority is given to students who pre-pay for courses as numbers are restricted. ATS reserves the right to reschedule courses if there are not sufficient numbers to run.
