Course Summary

This course is delivered over one four (4) hour session. There are 2 components to this program: 1. Theory bar training 2. Practical bar skills training Cost: $100 per student

Before You Book

  • Pre-requisites
    All students must be 18 years old on the day to participate in this course
    If you want to work in the Hospitality Industry pouring alcoholic beverages, consider getting your RSA certificate too.
  • Arrive 30 minutes prior to course commencement
  • Bring along a pen and paper

This Course Covers

  1. Introduction to the basics around the bar
  2. Information about glasses, equipment used in a bar & progress into getting hands on
  3. Pour tap beers
  4. Open & present wine to customers
  5. Pour shots
  6. Mix drinks
  7. Prepare consumables for the bar & use ice wells

After Your Course

Once successfully completed, learners will be issued with a certificate of completion for Bar Skills. Certificates are emailed to students, however, a hard copy is available for additional fee.

This course combines plain English and questioning to ensure all learners are able to have the best possible chance at comprehending the required knowledge and skills.
